travel north america united states california yosemite national park 1965 - summer
In the summer of 1965, I drove again to Yosemite, this time with Glendale College friend, Eric Norden and we camped in the valley.
I remember we had a lot of laughs that trip.
I remember it was so hot driving through the valley to get to Yosemite that we bought a bag of ice and let it melt in a large bowl placed in front of the car's air vent.
Eric had it in his lap when I accidently made a sudden braking and accelerating... watching the ice water in the bowl first roll toward the dash then back into his face and chest...
Looked funny to me...
I also made a cute new friend at one of the water falls in Yosemite Valley.
